![]() Any time you leave a casino with more than you had walking in is a good day. If they’re willing to drop $5-$10 on a pack of cancer sticks every day, then they’re probably willing to drop a paycheck or 2 on Lucky 7’s. But, chain smokers probably spend big bucks at those machines. There are plastic black ashtrays throughout the casino and smokers just carry them from machine to machine and if they end up at a non-smoking section, staff does nothing about it. There is no reinforcement of the non-smoking policy either. Different types of restaurants with all different price ranges. Plus for 15 almost four hours of bingo plus free coffee and beverages. Met some nice people and won a little bit. Hello?! Smoke easily wafts through the air and cannot be stopped by a ‘no smoking’ sign. Great shopping in the outlet me at least for me. There is a section of slot machines that have ‘No Smoking’ signs on them, but then there are machines literally the next section over that allows smoking. When we got to the “non-smoking” section, we were very confused. ![]() But, we had driven over 2 hours to get there, so we stuck around knowing that there was a non-smoking area and held our breath until we got there. ![]() I don’t know how non-smokers tolerate it. I understand that casino’s cater to the addictive personality – gamblers, alcoholics, and chain smokers, but this casino was never overrun by smoke as it was on this trip. One reviewer called it a “Smoker’s Paradise” and I couldn’t agree more. We had visited Foxwoods a couple of years ago and it was fun, but after this recent visit, we won’t be going back any time soon. ![]()
